The available colors have nothing to do with popularity. Manufacturers do not give consumers much choice.Good luck finding one that is not white, black or something in between. It's as if marketing departments are allergic to pigments or are completely color blind. They mostly paint them White, Gray and Black, with metallic versions of each that they call Pearl, Silver or Charcoal. Sometimes consumers can get some kind of a shade of blue or red if they search high and low. I think other colors would be more popular if they were available. But recently I've noticed a new trend in pigment colors, but toned town with gray. Basically they are gray with color undertones. This is a good start. I've seen some green under-toned gray colors that I like. Now if they would just squirt a little more green in there I'd buy one like that.

We have a 2015 JGC with the Pentastar 3.6L V6. Common problems: (1) leaky plastic oil coolers, (2) leaky hydraulic motor mounts, (3) thermostat failure, (4) faulty rocker arms that wear out. We have experienced all these failures except for the rocker arms. If you haven't already done so, I'd replace all of them with upgraded aftermarket parts (if possible) after your JGC reaches high mileage -- 100k or more. After 140k miles, we also had a fuel injector failure despite getting the dealership's pricey fuel injector cleaning service the year before. Looking back, after 100k miles, I'd just replace the injectors. I've heard from others that they are bound to fail. Better to treat them as a maintenance item than wait for them to fail when you're far from home (which is what happened to us).

To video creator... We builded 6300 + cars between 2011-2012 in Germany Leipzig of the BMW 1 M Coupé. You said there was only an amount of 700. Don't know where u get this information but I was building the whole series and worked from 2010-2013 at the BMW factory and I can tell you there where ordered more then 7000 cars but we stopped after 63XX (don't know the exact number today) EDIT: Search for it (may u mean only the US market but there where nearly 1000 cars not 700) and the whole world production was Alpine White: 2385 Valencia Orange: 2316 Black Sapphire: 1634

Hopefully it will sell well for BMW to rethink their manual strategy!

I thought that due to the carbon fiber body parts the E63 M6 and the E90/92 M3 are only about a fat girl's difference in weight (200 lbs)

hey brother I think you're the perfect person to ask since you own them. I'm in a situation where business is starting to kick off. I'm young 20s. Should I get a daily (m340i) right now and buy an exotic next year, or should I buy a 911 2 months from now and upgrade to exotic next year. If I got the m340i I would probably keep it 3-4 years. Appreciate your opinion!

I always liked the M2 model, the 2025 edition is no exception. I would choose the torque converter automatic but it's great that there is still a manual transmission option.

I sat in an M2 recently and it's far more luxurious and modern compared to my CT4 V BW, def more interior space than 781 Cayman and better looking than the M3/M4. curious if you go with one would you get Zanvoordt blue or something else?

And which are those new colors?

Now that is a good looking BMW I doubt the QC will be on par with the German built variant...too bad manufacturers raise prices and simultaneously lower production cost to cater towards shareholders

When it comes to sports cars, I personally take a liking to brighter colors, especially red or yellow. It just stands out even more amongst the crowd of grey, white, silver, and black cars that make the majority of what you see on the road. There is however one grey color I don't mind seeing on a sports car and that is the blueish Nardo Grey you see on some BMW's. Currently drive a Red Supra GR as my weekend car, and plan to color my 2001 Pontiac Trans Am Nardo Grey
